We’ll Be Back at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2024!
We are thrilled to announce our return to the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2024. Visitors to the world’s most covetable flower show will be able to find Griffin Glasshouses on stand RHW240 on Royal Hospital Way, where we will take up our usual position on the north side of the Floral Marquee.
The dates for Chelsea this year are 21 to 25 May, the busiest week of our year, and we are looking forward to greeting visitors onto the stand to take a good look around.
Three of our glorious glasshouses will be showcased at Chelsea. We will be showcasing two of our glasshouses from our fundraising National Garden Scheme range, the show-stopping NGS Lavender, and the more modestly proportioned NGS Thyme, alongside our ever-popular small panel-sided glasshouse, which is an example of one of our smallest bespoke glasshouse creations.
Stepping inside our glasshouses will allow visitors to see first-hand how to layout a growing area that’s carefully thought out, adaptable and that maximises the space available… all with a touch of elegance!
It’s Showtime For The National Garden Scheme at Chelsea This Year
One of our closest charity partners, the National Garden Scheme, will be exhibiting with a garden on Main Avenue this year, and we are thrilled for them! Designed by Tom Stuart-Smith and supported by Project Giving Back, the garden’s theme pays homage to the work of the NGS.
Aiming to demonstrate the joy and associated wellbeing benefits of garden visting that has been at the heart of the NGS since 1927, the design will be planted with a woodland theme with gentle underplanting. The garden’s eventual post-show home will be the garden of a new Maggie’s Centre for people undergoing cancer treatment at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge.
Tom has opened his garden for the charity at The Barn, alongside his sister’s garden at Serge Hill for the National Garden Scheme since 1993 and so this is a fitting partnership. We can’t wait to see it!
